James T. Caillouette, MD has been developing orthopedic implants, instruments and even software related to surgery since 1989. He is named as inventor on seven patents issued and six pending in conjunction with his work. Dr. Caillouette has made numerous national and international presentations and is well published in his specialty area of hip and knee replacement surgery. He is actively involved in teaching surgeons in the US and worldwide in the care of and techniques related to hip and knee replacement. In addition, he continues his cutting edge development work in adult reconstructive surgery. Dr. Caillouette is compensated for his consultation services, surgeon education, and product development by DePuy/Johnson & Johnson.
