Dancing 4 Days After Hip Replacement

When Piero Serra came to see Dr. Caillouette, he was experiencing pain due to advanced arthritis of the right hip.  Any weightbearing activities were painful.  He had reached a point where his quality of life was deteriorating because of constant hip pain.

Piero decided it was time to do something about his pain, and on January 17, 2014 had a total hip replacement.  Here, he shares with us a video of him dancing 4 days after his surgery.  Piero explained that he was pain free almost immediately after surgery.  He says, “I am so grateful to have my life back and to be able to do the things I love to do! It’s amazing!”
